📣 Exciting Learning in 5th Grade: Reaction Time Coding with Micro:bit Our 5th graders are diving into the world of coding and reaction time with an engaging hands-on activity using Micro:bit devices! They’re learning how to code a reaction game where they test their reflexes and precision. Here’s how it works: 💡 The Game: Students start by coding a countdown, and after a random delay, an LED lights up on the Micro:bit screen. Their goal? Press the button as quickly as possible when they see the light! The Micro:bit measures how fast they react and displays their time. 🚦 Learning Highlights: Coding Basics: Students learn how to program with logic, timing, and LED displays. Problem-Solving Skills: They debug their own code, enhancing critical thinking. Real-Life Application: They explore how reaction time is important in sports, driving, and even video games. This hands-on project is sparking curiosity and building foundational coding skills for our young learners. We’re so proud of their progress and can’t wait to see what they create next!
