Scranton Public School is looking for a coach for JH Girls' Basketball for this season. The season will start the last week in October and run until Christmas break. Book Character Pumpkin Decorating Contest! 🎃
It’s time to get creative! Students are invited to turn a pumpkin into their favorite book character!
Contest information papers are going home with students today, so be sure to check backpacks!
A few important details:
🎃 Real, foam, or plastic pumpkins may be used
🚫 No carved pumpkins
🎨 Decorate using paper, glue, paint, markers, or other craft supplies
👨👩👧 Pumpkins can be student made or family made
📚 Please include the book and character your pumpkin represents
Pumpkin Drop-Off: October 19–23 in the library
Voting: October 28 during Parent/Teacher Conferences

Scranton Public School is looking for a coach for grades 4-6 boys' basketball. Practices will primarily be in Scranton with a cooped practice with Hettinger about once a week. This season is set to start at the end of the month, so getting this position filled soon is a must. Branson Trip 2027!
We still have spots available on our upcoming music trip to Branson, MO! This is a music trip open to Scranton band and choir students in grades 9-12. We will be traveling May 31-June 5, 2027. We will be able to take in various musical shows and activities as well as perform in a couple venues. Please reach out to Mrs. Conlon with any questions or interest in this trip!
