The full band received a Superior and Excellent rating from both of our judges. We got some really great comments and feedback from both of our judges!
Volte- mixed ensemble received a Star 🌟 Superior rating and will advance to the State Music Festival in May!
Rondeau- Junior mixed ensemble received a Star 🌟 Superior rating and will advance to the State Music Festival in May!
Themes from Judas Maccabaeus- Freshmen/Sophomore mixed group received a 1- Excellent rating!

📢 Field Trip Announcement – March 17th
On March 17th, Scranton 7th, 8th, and High school students who are not attending the Region X Band Festival will be taking a field trip to the Enchanted Highway.
During this trip, students will have the opportunity to learn more about North Dakota state history while seeing firsthand the incredible roadside sculptures created by local schoolteacher Gary Greff. Beginning in the early 1990s, Greff started building these larger-than-life metal sculptures as a way to celebrate the culture and spirit of our State.
This will be a great opportunity for students to experience a unique piece of North Dakota history while enjoying an educational day outside the classroom.
Students will leave at 8:30 and will return to school by 3:10. We look forward to a great day of learning and exploration!
