NIGHT HAWK HOLIDAY HOOP CAMP

Monday December 29th @ the Scranton Gym

Grades 2-4 – 8:00 AM – 10:00 AM

Grades 5-6 – 10:30 AM – 12:30 PM

This camp is a free-will fundraiser for the Night Hawk Boys’ Basketball team. Come learn and play some basketball as the Night Hawk team will conduct the camp.

Camp T-Shirts are donated by the Scranton Friends of Fireman!

Reminder Scranton School is starting 2 hours late today. Looks like I made the call too early last night. As I took my drive this morning, the roads are in much better condition than they were last night at 9:30. I like to make the call the night before to give parents time to plan, in this case I should have waited. We will start 2 hours late today and buses will run. Sorry for any inconvenience but I am always trying to be proactive in keeping our students safe. PS - It is still extremely icy on the overhead coming into town! See everyone later today! Drive Safely!

Scranton Public School will start 2 hours late tomorrow, Friday the 12th. Just took another spin around the district and the roads are getting very slick once again. Hopefully the roads improve with some daylight. Stay safe everyone!

"ulpdate on Boys wrestling: The boys will leave Hettinger at 12:30 today to go to Rapid City. The Duals in Bowman have been canceled. Parents, please make sure your wrestler has all of their gear and coolers by leave time.

Scranton School will not be in session today. The gravel roads are just not safe right now and I do not feel we should put the buses or students on the road. Students take this time to work on any work that needs to be done and study for those upcoming semester exams. Teachers monitor TEAMS for and questions students may have. Stay safe everyone!

Reminder 2 hour late start today. Was worried this morning I made the wrong call as highways are not horrible. Went on some gravel roads. 20-25 mph and treacherous at those speeds in spots. As daylight hits, I will keep everyone posted on more announcements. Stay safe everyone!

Due to the likelihood of freezing rain starting around midnight tonight, Scranton school will start 2 hours late tomorrow. Bus pickup times will be 2 hours later than normal. This will give us time to assess the roads in the daylight. Stay safe everyone!

With the slick roads tonight, the Board has decided to postpone tonight's School Board meeting until next Wednesday, December 17th at 7:00 PM. Thank you and please stay safe out there.

Due to the weather we will have split practices tonight. Scranton will practice in Scranton, Hettinger will practice in Hettinger and Bison will practice in Bison. High School Boys and girls basketball will practice in the Big Gym. JH Girls will practice in the Little Gym in Hettinger. JH boys basketball will practice in the Armory in Hettinger. In Scranton all levels will practice in the Scranton Gym.
