Congratulations! It's been a great week for Scranton School! Regional Science Fair, History Day and Region X Instrumental Festival have all had great success! To top it off, the remaining 9-12 students enjoyed an afternoon yesterday with games for the senior citizens, SW Healthcare residents and Sunrise Village residents in Bowman. We are proud!
Student Council Will meet today at 3:00.
Seniors Tomorrow at 3:00 the seniors will meet with Ted Uecker in the ITV room regarding the WRHS Foundation scholarship.
Job Shadowing The Freshmen are job shadowing this morning, and will be back by noon.
Youth Group Will meet tonight at 6:30 at the senior center.

We had a great day at regional solo and ensemble festival. We had many great performances and got some great feedback from our judges. Congratulations to all students on a great day of music making!

It was a great day of cards and games as students from grades 9-12 spent the afternoon at the South West Health Care Residence Home and Sunrise Village. Fun was had by all!
National History Day...A SUCCESS!!!
13 Scranton students are state qualifiers! They will compete at the Heritage Center on April 16th. Congratulations, students!

Order forms are being sent home with elementary students. Junior high and high school students can pick up their order forms in the office or in Miss Erickson's room.
Tomorrow (March 19) is the last day the Student Council will be accepting shoes for their shoe drive! If you would like to help out please bring your lightly used athletic shoes to the school by 3:15 and they will get them sent off to gotsneakers.com! Thank you for your support!

History Day The 6th, 7th and 8th grades are participating in History Day in Dickinson today. They will return by the end of the school day. Enjoy the day!
Region X Instrumental Festival Is today in Dickinson with 22 high school students attending. Good luck to all!
High School Lunch The high school students will be eating lunch with elementary today. Please send them down to eat between 11:10 and 11:15.
High School Students Those is grades 9-12 remaining in school today will go to Bowman to play cards with the senior citizens, SW Healthcare residents and the Sunrise Village. The bus leaves at 12:30 and will return before school is out.
Job Shadowing The freshmen are job shadowing tomorrow.

Tonight's Bus Schedule Track and baseball athletes will be on the new activity bus, and elementary volleyball will be on a small bus to Hettinger. It's picture night for the elementary volleyball athletes.
History Day 6TH, 7TH AND 8TH GRADES need to be at school tomorrow at 7:45 a.m. sharp to get on the bus for History Day.
Region X Instrumental Festival Is tomorrow in Dickinson.

Tuesday March 18th the 6-8th graders will be going to Dickinson State University to compete in the regional National History Day competition. Our 6-8th graders have been hard at work preparing for this exciting day. Students should be at the school by 7:45 AM for a 7:50 AM departure. The regional National History Day competition will begin at 10:00 AM and end around 2:00 PM. Students will return back to school before the end of the school day. We look forward to a great event!
