First football practice at 12:01 August 4, 2022! Have a great season, Night Hawks!

The football bus will leave Scranton School tonight at 11:20 PM for the opening practice of the season tonight at 12:01. Lets Go Night Hawks!

Next week there is an elementary volleyball camp in Hettinger. There will be a bus from Scranton on Monday and Wednesday that leaves at 7:15 a.m. NO BUS ON TUESDAY AS OUR DRIVERS HAVE A BUS DRIVER WORKSHOP THAT DAY! Athletes will need their own ride on Tuesday. Go Night Hawks!

Scranton Public School is still looking for a coach to assist with the JH Volleyball program. Alix Pearson is in charge of the JH program, we are just looking for someone to assist. Very Important Information for ALL Scranton Public School Families: The USDA began providing free meals to students during the pandemic beginning in 2020. On June 30, 2022, the USDA chose to end the waiver that provided free meals to students and families since 2020. Families must complete a Free and Reduced Lunch application in order to receive assistance for the 2022-2023 school year. By completing this form, Scranton Public School will also receive needed assistance for programs in the classroom. *This form MUST be completed each school year. Reminder that we have our Parent and Athlete meeting tonight in Hettinger at 6:00 for all athletic teams.

The Scranton Gym will be off limits beginning tomorrow morning until August 15th. The floor is being resurfaced and needs time to dry. Thank you.

Reminder that the preseason parent and player meeting will be held at the Hettinger School on August 1st beginning at 6:00 PM. Thank you everyone for a great All-School Reunion this past weekend! Scranton Public School loved hosting the registration and social on Friday. Hopefully everyone was able to check out the school and reconnect with many great memories.

Welcome Back Alumni! Day 1 of a great All-School Reunion is about to get started. Scranton Public School welcomes all of you back to town to celebrate friends, classmates, teachers, and the great history of our community. Have a blast everyone!

All bus route drivers, sub drivers, and activity drivers, the Bus Driver Workshop in Bowman is scheduled for August 9th. There are also workshops in Dickinson if that date does not work for you. You can register on the Dickinson RESP website.
